No, Google Maps Navigation is not broken. It is a widely used and reliable navigation tool that provides accurate directions and real-time traffic information to help users reach their destinations efficiently. However, like any technology, there may be occasional glitches or inaccuracies, but overall, Google Maps Navigation is a highly functional and valuable tool for users. **

Pilots do not typically choose the flight route themselves before each flight. The flight route is usually determined by the airline's flight operations department or a designated flight planner. This is based on a variety of factors including air traffic control requirements, weather conditions, fuel efficiency, and airspace restrictions. Pilots are then provided with the flight plan and route to follow for their specific flight. However, pilots do have the ability to request changes to the route or make adjustments during the flight based on real-time conditions. **

Google Maps Navigation does require an internet connection to provide real-time navigation and directions. However, Google Maps does offer a feature called offline maps, which allows users to download maps of specific areas for offline use. While offline maps can provide basic navigation like route planning and viewing saved locations, real-time traffic updates and turn-by-turn directions will not be available without an internet connection. **

The navigation route planner is sorted sensibly, as it takes into account factors such as distance, traffic conditions, and estimated travel time to provide the most efficient route. It also considers user preferences and real-time data to offer alternative routes in case of road closures or heavy congestion. Overall, the navigation route planner is designed to prioritize the quickest and most convenient route for the user's journey. **

Google Maps may sometimes suggest a strange route due to various factors such as traffic congestion, road closures, or construction. Additionally, the algorithm used by Google Maps may prioritize the fastest route based on real-time data, which could lead to unconventional routes. It is always a good idea to double-check the suggested route and use your own judgment when following directions from any mapping application. **

To activate navigation on Maps, first open the Maps app on your device. Then, enter your desired destination in the search bar. Once the destination is selected, tap on the "Directions" button. Finally, choose your preferred mode of transportation (car, walking, public transit) and tap on "Start" to begin the navigation. **

Google Maps Navigation does require an internet connection to provide real-time navigation and directions. However, users can download specific maps for offline use in advance, which allows them to access basic navigation features like route planning and turn-by-turn directions without an internet connection. Offline maps do not provide real-time traffic updates or satellite imagery, but they can still be useful in areas with limited or no internet connectivity. **

One way to update navigation maps for free is to check if the manufacturer of your navigation system offers free map updates. Some car manufacturers provide complimentary map updates for a certain period after purchasing the vehicle. Another option is to use open-source mapping software like OpenStreetMap, which allows users to update and edit maps for free. Additionally, some GPS devices and apps offer free map updates through community-driven efforts where users contribute to map improvements. **
